TOMORROW: Robinson to Accompany Students on Junior Achievement Trip, Swear In Student Mayor

BRIDGEVILLE – Sen. Devlin Robinson (R-37) will accompany fifth-grade students from South Fayette School District and swear in a student mayor tomorrow, May 31, at 10:30 a.m. during their visit to Junior Achievement of Western PA, 90 Emerson Lane, Suite 1403, Bridgeville.

Junior Achievement of Western PA’s (JA) experiential learning lab, JA BizTown®, is a fully-interactive community simulation that brings to life the business and other elements of what make day‐to‐day life successful in cities and towns. The innovative, hands‐on program builds upon the various classroom curricula of JA and provides students with first‐hand knowledge of life in the real world.

Robinson is an advocate and has recently helped to secure funding for the program, assisting more than 4,000 students from across western Pennsylvania to participate this school year. During his visit, he will emphasize the need for financial education and the impact of the lessons they will receive during their trip to the educational facility.

Robinson and representatives from JA BizTown® will be available for comment.
